What is your experience in Organic Farming?
I don't have much experience in organic farming, except for the fact that my father has just started to shift from "normal" non organic farming to organic farming, here in Norway. Most work on fields here is done with machines, though.
Even though I don't have much experience, I plan to get, and this is where WWOOF comes in. Through working at farms in exotic areas, I hope to learn while experiencing new cultures, climates and nature.

Looking for an organic farm in Ecador near the coast

Hey everybody. I'm a 27 years old man who has some work experience at farms in Norway, and am now looking for a nice farm near the coast of Ecador to work at for some time. The reason I'd prefer to coast is that I really love water, so staying near the coast would be perfect for me. I plan to stay in Ecuador from January of February 2011, and have not decided on how long yet. I hope to hear from someone nice soon :)

Howdy, Frank and other travelers!

Ill be in Quito for a couple of days starting the 15th of January. Ive worked on organic farms for 4 years now and hope to gain some new experience, techniques and possibly some seeds here in Ecuador, while working on my spanish.  Ill be in a hostel at least the 15, 16 and 17 before i play and work around.  Looking for art, culture, hikes, farms and growth. My original farm partner couldn't make it last minute. Looking for fun, intelligent, good open loving company!

Hola Frank,  I'm headed to Quito on the 12th and I will be traveling around various places in the area for awhile, eventually making my way south and flying out of Lima Peru in May.  Maybe we could meet up!  Have you finalized any travel plans?

I have not actually done it, but was thinking about it a while back. I haven't ruled it out, so I'd love to hear about your experience later!
