A key set of questions for us is how long will these volunteers be in Guatemala, how many, what kinds of skills do they bring to the work and are the volunteers able to pay modestly for their local housing and meals. The work of greatest focus right now is in the family garden program although it is possible the vivero for trees will be initiated for this year as well during the August and September period. We need some lead time to plan activities for voluteers. Can I presume that the voluntyeers have some Spanish?
