Thank you for contacting me. I am very sorry to hear that your good friend Jaime Mendoza has died. I had hoped to volunteer in the Vilcabamba area & also look around that area whilst I was there. I have heard so much about the wonderful climate, & good food. However, my trip to Ecuador was posponed due to a legal problem that I have in Italy. Seing your web site has made me very interested in visiting you though. When would you require volunteers. I was hopeing to come to Ecuador perhaps in September.
