I have been an Organic Gardener all my life. I start my own seeds, and I grow all types of garden vegetables, fruits, berries and also have Organic Eggs, from my Chickens. My garden is rather large, and so sometimes I sell the extra produce. I also do seed-sprouting, of various seeds, for a winter garden, indoors, as well, I hope to be a volunteer, in the next few years, (possibly November - March) and then may consider starting my own Host Farm. Any ideas about who has the best farms, to volunteer at, would be greatly appreciated !! Thanks, and Happy Gardening! Suzy :)
I am afraid that I am new to the WWOOF site also. I am not the right person to give you the right information. But in this way we can both learn and read what other people experiences are. greetings from the Netherlands.Edwin
My partner and I got Holiday Working Visa's before arriving in New Zealand. Immigration there requires you to have one if you're planning on WWOOFing. We hitchhiked around the country and WWOOFed at several farms along the way. One farm became special to us and we stayed there for almost half of our entire time in New Zealand. We still keep in touch with that family even 2 years later. It was a great experience!
I have not yet volunteered with WWOOF, but I have lived in South America and worked in the Amazon doing research. I am currently in law school at IU and and considering options for the summer, one of which is to WWOOF in Latin America. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
